Security escutcheon for the front door
A protruding cylinder is easier to snap. The escutcheon covers it and goes on without replacing the lock.
Bathroom lock and latch on interior doors
The thumb turn spins but the bathroom door will not lock, or the latch misses the plate: we adjust, rebuild or replace the mechanism.

Needed a kitchen faucet replaced. Sent pictures of the current and replacement faucets and sink via WhatsApp. Had a response from Ilya the plumber within a couple hours. Arranged an appointment the following day, as this was not an emergency. Ilya worked around my schedule as well. Showed up right on time and did an excellent job swapping the faucets. Even did a little extra in my bathroom which was much appreciated. The best service I have experienced in Novi Sad to date. Should I replace the cylinder or the whole lock?
If the mechanism works and the problem is the keys or a sticking cylinder, a new cylinder is enough: it is quicker and cheaper. We replace the whole lock when the bolts, latch or body are broken and a repair would not be reliable. We tell you which one you need from a photo or on site.
Do I need to buy the lock in advance?
No. The master buys a lock or cylinder of the right size to match your old one, and the part itself is paid separately. If you prefer to buy it yourself, send a photo of the door edge and faceplate and we will tell you the lock body size and cylinder length.

No, we do not do emergency lockout opening. We come once the door is open: we change the cylinder or lock so the old keys no longer work and repair the mechanism.
What warranty do you give on lock installation?
We give up to 6 months warranty on fitting locks, cylinders and door hardware. If the lock starts to stick or the door stops closing because of our work, we come back and fix it free of charge.
Why has the key become hard to turn?
Common causes are a worn or dirty cylinder, a sagging door that makes the bolt rub on the strike plate, or a loose lock. If the key turns easily with the door open and hard with it closed, adjusting the strike plate is usually enough. It is better not to wait until the key breaks in the cylinder.
