Needed a kitchen faucet replaced. Sent pictures of the current and replacement faucets and sink via WhatsApp. Had a response from Ilya the plumber within a couple hours. Arranged an appointment the following day, as this was not an emergency. Ilya worked around my schedule as well. Showed up right on time and did an excellent job swapping the faucets. Even did a little extra in my bathroom which was much appreciated. The best service I have experienced in Novi Sad to date. What does the price depend on?

How quickly can a handyman come?

Is there a warranty on the fixing?
Yes, the fixing comes with a warranty of up to 6 months. If the rod falls because of our work, we come back and redo it.
Can a plastic rod hold heavy curtains?
It depends on how old the track is. Old plastic, especially on sunny windows, turns brittle and cracks. For blackout, velvet or double-pleat curtains it is better to fit an aluminium profile straight away: it does not crack and carries more weight.
The rod fell out of a plasterboard ceiling. What now?
A standard nylon plug in plasterboard will not hold heavy curtains. You need a molly anchor, a butterfly plug or a screw into the supporting stud. If the old holes are torn, we move the fixing point to one side.
Why won't the curtains slide along the rod?
The gliders are usually to blame: they clog with dust and dry out and crack over time. The track rarely needs replacing; cleaning or swapping the gliders is enough. If the running channel is bent, we will tell you honestly that a new profile is sometimes cheaper.
Does installation depend on the building and ceiling?
It depends not on the district but on the ceiling or wall material: concrete, brick or plasterboard. Concrete and brick hold best; plasterboard needs a special anchor or support from a stud. Send a photo of the ceiling: the material is usually visible, and we check the rest on site.
