Transforming Ciskari's Public Space
We are pleased to share our latest facade renovation project in one of Tbilisi's public spaces - Ciskari. The CityHandyman team updated old veneer facades, transforming them from a dark wood shade to a light olive color. The new design added light and freshness to the space, creating a brighter and cozier atmosphere.
Step-by-Step Renovation Process
The renovation process included several key stages:
Dismantling the facades: We carefully removed all doors and panels to prepare them for further processing.
Sanding and preparation: The surfaces were sanded to remove the old finish and prepare for painting. All hardware, including hinges, handles, and locks, was removed.
Painting: The facades were coated with acrylic paint in two layers for perfect color and durability. An acrylic varnish was then applied to protect the surfaces and add extra shine.
Reinstallation: After completing all work, we reinstalled the facades and hardware, ensuring every detail was in place and working perfectly.
Modern Style with Traditional Elements
This project not only changed the appearance of the space but also highlighted its significance by combining modern style with traditional elements. We are proud to have helped create such a harmonious and functional interior.
